Who We Are

A lifelong craftsman and nature enthusiast, has over 20 years of experience creating everything from furniture to metal art. His work has taken him across Utah and to places as far as Fiji. Inspired by science and the natural world, he co-founded Bowerbird with his brother Nels to craft stunning, functional metal art that celebrates nature's beauty.

Nels, co-owner of Bowerbird and founder of Drum Utah, combines a love of science, art, and nature. After studying Biology and working on a permaculture farm in Costa Rica, his travels deepened his passion for the natural world. Inspired by his brother Kenn’s metalwork, they teamed up to create Bowerbird, blending their experiences to craft innovative, nature-inspired art.
